Please pray for this little girl, Daisy Love; she is struggling with what is called a “Wilms Tumor” (a pediatric cancer, like mine was). I was looking at our former church — Crossroads Community Church in Vancouver, WA — and I just came across her website through the churches’ site. Please pray for her, her condition is serious; but not too serious for the LORD, for whom nothing is too difficult (see Jeremiah 32:17). Go to her site here: Daisy Love

Praying for Daisy, and You-all Bobby.
We have daisies in the back yard to remind us.
You spoke of the Father’s love for us, and what He must have felt when HE sent His SOn. I know your right. I imagine it, and I feel compassion for our Father and His Son, our Lord. I don’t even doubt it (rarely anyhow). I’m just in one of those seasons again, where I’m just not very enthralled with any one or anything. Pretty tired, and praying for some encouragement, or just the Lord’s will be done. Work is a drag, and I’m tired of hearing myself say “I’m tired”.
So, I would appreciate sending some prayers up.

You’ve got it, Duane; I’m praying right now for you!

Bobby, thanks so much for your most effectual prayers.
I also put up my need (was whining) at the social networking site of Compassion International, where we sponsor our little girl in Haiti. Three people reading the same blog are praying for their husbands to find work, as they have been unemployed for some time, the mortgage is due etc. One family moved from the midwest to the midsouth for a job, which was a trial by itself, now having begun anew, and made a new life for themselves, he finds himself unemployed again. That would be so hard. So all my friends are on my heart as I sung in church this morning “Oh Love That Will Not Let Me Go”. One of my favorite hymns (I have dozens of favorite hymns).
I also had Jeremy Camp’s song on my heart “I still believe”.

Duane, thanks for sharing. Life is hard, but Jesus is soft and sweet; and almighty and powerful. I’ll be praying for your requests here!

Bobby, coming back to this post just reminds me to keep praying for Daisy, so she is not lost in the fray.
I am praying about your car & stuff. Don’t be embarassed, consider it a gift to us that we have opportunity to share, and know that it won’t be cast on the ground.
I failed to mention, that after Church Pastor offered (if I did not misunderstand, and I think I did not)that I could deliver the sermon sometime.
Then Monday morning on the way to work, I heard David Crowder Band “Oh How He Loves Us”. Maybe you know this one. It’s simple but after a number of listenings with the lyrics, it’s full too:
“We are His portion and He is His prize, drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes…” “and Heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss”. This song is IT.
