Made it! Home from my first cycle of chemo, 3 more cycles to go! You guys, all of you, I just want to say thank you for all the support; the LORD’s presence is so real and near, and I know it’s beacause of all of your prayers! I’m feeling relatively good, the nurse said I’ve come through this very well; again it’s because of your prayers. Please pray I continue avoid any real sickness, and that the chemo in my system will proceed to kick this cancer’s butt (shrink it to nothing — even just with this one cycle in play). I just wanted to give you all a heads up, I’ll write a longer post later.
In Christ,
Bobby
P.S. The LORD is so faithful, it’s amazing, and all of guys are acting as His hands and feet; I’ve never experienced the church like this, virtual or otherwise! Love all of you . . .

Happy you’re home, Bobby! There really is no place like home, is there? Did the kids greet you with their huge, beautiful smiles? Would loved to have seen there faces when they got to see Dad(dy) again!
Was sooooo good to see you yesterday. I know you feel lousy, but you looked so good!
Hope, too, you’re enjoying your mom’s visit!
Toyota Land people send you best wishes and I have a feeling many sincere prayers are being offered up, by them, on your behalf. Including mine…..
Love U!

Thanks Sally! Yes, Bobby is doing well, his appetite is coming back and he says he’s starting to feel a bit better. He says he’s still tired, which is totally normal. Because his white cell count is low and will get lower in the next week, he is vulnerable to infection, so praying the Lord’s covering over him so that he doesn’t get sick. The Lord has answered soooooooooooo many prayers that I know He’ll honor this one as well!
Have fun in the freezing rain! Yuck!
Blessings,
Angela

Hi Bobby and Angela,
Let me add my 2 cents to the solidarity forming around you. It is so encouraging to see your transparency through this, living in a glass house for the benefit and hope that this provides you and others. I add my prayers to those of everyone else.

Sally,
Thank you, Auntie; it is good to be home, starting to feel more normal, considering.
Jim,
It is amazing to see the church like this, Jim! Thank you for your prayers and other support too!

Bobbie,
I will continue to be praying for your family and that you will indeed beat this cancer.

Thank you, Lana! I totally intend to beat this; and that only because of the strenghth and grace of Jesus Christ!!
Yes, please keep praying; I’m afraid folks might loose their resolve, I’ll do my best to keep reminding everyone. All of your prayers have been needed.
